to trial on Friday the 13th inst.;
the pleadings Were sinished on
Saturday the 14th inliant, at 3
o'clock, p. m. when thejun,
aster receiving a pertinent charge
srom Shippcn retired md the
court adjourned till 5 o'clock.
The court met again at the time
appointed, and the jury having
returned, delivered in their ver
