made three arrests. One was lined $2,50,
for which fine I hold treasurer’s receipt.
One was fined $2,10, and paid by con
finement in guard house; and the other
has not yet been tried. Respectfully
submitted, J.Bakrkit, Marshal.
On motion, the City Printing was gi
ven to the "‘Field and Fireside” for the
year.
On motion of Alderman Hunt, the
City Treasurer was instructed to pay all
tie could out of city funds in hand, and
to arrange for extension of the balance
due on first instalment due on Fire En
gine. Adopted.
On motion, the .Marshal was Instruct
ed to collect all taxes due on new busi
