BROWN ON LEA VINO AC WORTH ;.
MARCH 23, 1870.
The rolling trains this day will sever.
A thousand hearts that beat together
In unison, to music’s measure,
Love whispers softly, never, never.
We foe I and own its magic power
That, linger round the heart this hour:
Farewell glances love will shower,
Like mornings dew drops on the flower.
The* chords of music still will bind us.
Amlin it's sweet embrace will find us.
And up to heaven it wil 1 wind us.
Leaving joy on earth behind us.
And when we strike the harp of heaven
With all the charms of music given.
The soul will feast on holy leaven—
<>! take me home to sing of heaven.
While Marietta lias had blind Tom,
Aeworth lias had blind Brown and his
charming daughter to,
“Give its music soft and sweet,*’
That ten thousand heart repeat.
All made happy at the show,
Vibrating to the music's flow.
Hearts, like harps, were made to feel,
When love has stamped them with a seal
’Tls sweet'to listen and to linger,
When beauty strikes them with her
linger.
