Fiscola Academy.
THE undersigned having consented to take charge
of t-liis Institution for the next year, will open
the first term on Monday, the 25>th of January lint.
The Academy is situnted in the 12th district of
Lowndes comity, about eighteen-miles north of Boll
ville, thirty-three east of Ttionrasvilte, aud about
two went of Spain’s Bridge. The scholastic year
will be divided into two terms of twenty week*
each. Tho school is designed for the education of
botii girl* amt boy*; and as tho philosophy of life
seems to dictate that the sexes should be educated
together, the male and female mind w ill be thrown
iu direct conflict whenever circumstances will per
mit. Boys will be instructed iu a course preparato
ry for admittance into the first or accond class of
any of our Universities when desirqd. When a
collegiate course is not intended, the design wiil.be
