If wll the. world was The Dansant*.
And all the price* cheap;
And all the home* were cabaret*,
Where should we bo to sleep?
I had a little husband,
His hair was dappled gray,
I lent him to a lady
To step the latest way;
She pushed him, she pulled him.
She shoved him till he tired:
I would not lend my husband now
Whatever lady hired.

over small things. It lakes energy
to traverse the hundred* of needless
steps some people take In carrying on
their dally duties.

NO AVERAGE WOMAN.
"There Is no average woman,” says
Leonora In Maude Adams’ play, "The
Legend of Leonora,” and to Barrie's
sentiment Miss Adams adds: "There
I* no average woman, because there is
no common place woman. No two wo
men are alike. Women refuse to be
t-lasHllied, What lifts woman above
the common place is her power to
dream. The woman without dreams
is the one hopeless person of us all. No
matter what a woman's task may be,
it may be sewing In a sweatshop, It
may be washing dishes, but her
dreams rescue her from the com
monplace In life. They keep her from
being an average woman.”
