Chicago, Ills—Although absence of pre
dicted general rain today put a little
firmness into wheat, prices at the out
set. a decline took place later, on op
timistic reports from Kansas. Quota
tions started 1-4 off to a like amount up
hut gradually sagged below last night’s
level.
Persistence of unfavorable weather in
Argentine had a bullish influence on
corn. After opening 1-8 down to 1-4
advance the market scored a moderate
gain.
Unabated dry weather pushed oats
higher.
Provisions turned easy with hogs.

WILLIAMS, MARION LEE.—The 6-
montbs-old son of Mr. and Mrs. T.
S. Williams, died yesterday after
noon at 5:30 o’clock. The funer
al services were held from the
residence, 1642 Broad Street,
this morning at 10 o’clock, and
the Interment was in the West
View Cemetery. The ltev. Mr.
Veach was the officiating minis
ter.
BRITT MRS. MATTIE.—Of Atlanta,
died last night at the residence of
her nephew, Mr. F. M. Crawtord,
838 Hill Street, in the 57th year
of her age. The remains of de
ceased were shipped to Atlanta
tills afternoon and tho funeral
services and interment will take
place there.

McNair, J. R. Boall, A. 11. Rooks and J.
F. Turner, of Richmond County. Geor
gia. respectfully shows:—
(1) -That they desire for themselves,
their associates and successors to be In
corporated and made a body, politic un
der the name and style of The Farmers
Gin * Fertilizer Company, for a period
of twenty (20) years, with provision of
renewal thereafter.
(2) —That the principal office of said
Company shall he in the Village of
lily the. State and County aforesaid, hut
petitioners desire the right to establish
branch offices within this State or else
where whenever the holders of a ma
jority of the stock may so determine.
(3) The object of s.aid corporation is
pecuniary gain to Itself and share
holders.
(4) The particular business to be car
ried on by said corporation is the gln
nlng of cotton, buying and selling cotton
and cottonseed; manufacturing fertilizer,
mixing fertilizer and generally dealing in
fertilizers, with tho special privilege also
of manufacturing and dealing in farm
ers supplies and agricultural implements
of nil kinds, and any and all other busi
ness pertaining to either tho manufac
ture or the purchase and silo of farm
supplies, including tho right to purchase
and sell real estate nnd personal prop
erty.
(5) —The capital stork of said corpora
tion shall bo five thousand ($5,000.00)
dollars, with tho privl’ege of Increasing
same to tho sum of twenty-five thou
sand (S2S,OIM\OO> dollars, at anytime by
the majority vote o>f the stockholders;
said stock to be divided into shares of
$50.00 each, sixty per cent (60 per cent)
of which amount of capital to be so em
ployed. having by them been actually
paid in.
(6) Pot if loners desire the right to
have the subscriptions of said capital
stock paid In money or property, to bo
taken at the fair valuation.
(TV- Petitioners further desire the
right to sue nnd to be sued, to plead and
to bo impleaded, to havo nnd use a com
mon seal, to make all necessary by-laws
and regulations, nnd to do all other
things that may be neoesHnry for suc
cessfully carrying on said business; nnd
to execute notes and bonds as evidence
of indebtedness incurred or which may

the saino by mortgage, security deed or

accept amendments of either form or
