against Mr. A. Abron, a wealthy mer
chant and land proprietor, of Halslng
horg, 'or ‘‘breaking the Sabbath and
holy days," by working in his garden
on Paster Sunday and Monday and
also for wearing only his shirt and
trailers.
The constable who saw him at work
during divine service time ordered
him to cease work and dress himself
properly, but lie replied thnt ns hlb
ilme was fully occupied by his busi
ness during the week, Sunday was
the only day he hud for recreation
In his garden.
