The Augusta Combacks registered
their fourth straight victory yesterday
afternoon when they defeated dim
Foxes outfit in the opening game ot
the series by the score of 8 to 2.
There were three errors made by
the locals, these being the first that
have been made since the bunch hare
been U home on this “stay.”

Second Innings.
Clark flew out to left. Berger rap

same variety and Kelly scored. Smith
flew out to left, thus retiring the side.
Fifth Inning.
Shaw was lot by the ball. Mackert
rapped a two-bagger to center. Clark
bounded to first. It was too'liot for
Fox and Clark was sate. Berger sac
rificed to center scoring Shaw Wal
lace drove a high one to left which
was good for two bags. Mackert
scored in the meantime. Brouthers
bunted and was thrown out at first.
Clark scored in the meantime. Kelly

Mackert walked. Clark singled to
right. Berger bounded to Camnitz ara

the opener of the series from Jack
sonville yesterday, 8 to 0. Only one
visitor reached second and one of the
two hits secured off Spade was a
bunt. Johnson proved easy, errors
and hits being hunched with his wild
ness. McMillan's fielding, his stealing
of third twice, combined with his dou
