Discussed at an Important
Meeting of the Special Hos- ;
pital Committee on Yesterday |
Afternoon.
Equipment for the new city hospt- '
tal« wak dinon*Bed at an important I
meeting held yesterday of the special |
hospital committee. It was estimated !
that $75,000 would bo required to pro- j
vide furniture and apparatus of ev- |
ery kind for the hospitals. At the
meeting yesterday a sub-committee
composed of Drs, W. C. Lyle, T. R.
Wright and J. M. Caldwell was ap
pointed to submit another report so as
to curtail if possible, without interfer
ing with efficiency, the amount need
ed for furnishing the hospitals.
The University Hospitals have cost
a great deal of money and the special
committee will endeavor to let the
city down ns light as possible in the
matter of furniture, etc., to he con- |
sistent with the proper service.
