White and J. L. Itfrgle. all of Richmond
County, Georgin, respectfully fellows:
1— That they desire for themselves, as
signs. associates and successors (o be in
corporated and made n body politic un
der the name and style of BERRIE
TIRE & RUBBER COMPANY, for the
period of t*wenty years.
2 The principal office of said Com
pany shall be in the City of Augusta,
said State and County, with the right to
establish branch office* elsewhere.
3 Tho object of said corporation is
pecuniary gain to Itself and stockholders.
4 The business \o be carried on by
said corporation is the buying and sell
ing of automobile tires, furnishings, ac
cessories of every kind, gasoline, and the
repairing of automobile tires and auto
mobile accesorles and furnishings.
5 The capital stock of said corpora
tion is to he two thousand dollars, di
vided into shares of twenty-five dollars
each, with privilege of Increasing the
capital to five thousand dollars by a
majority vote of the stockholders, and
ten per cent of the capital lias actually
been paid in.
6.—The petitioners desire all the com
mon law and statutory rights incident to
corporations of this character, with the
right to buy, hold and sell auch Veal es
tate, and personal property ns is suitable
for the purpose of the corporation, and
to execute notes as evidence of any In
debtedness Incurred or to be incurred,
and to secure the same by mortgage,
security deed nv other form of lien un
iter existing law.
WHEREFORE, petitioners pray to be
incorporated tinder the name and style
aforesaid with the powers, privileges
and immunities herein Set forth, and aa
are now, or may be hereafter allowed a
corporation of similar character under
the laws of Georgia
