WEAK KIDNEYS
Mixed With Juniper Is Old
Folks’ Recipe for Clogged
Kidneys and Backache.
Most folk* forget that the kidney*,
like the bowels, get sluggish and clog
ged and need a flushing occeslonally.
else we have backache and dull misery
m the kidney region, severe head
aches, rheumatic twinges, torpid
liver, acid stomach, sleeplessness and
all sorts of bladder disorders, dizzy
spells, spots before the eyes, frequent
desire to urinate.
To avoid above troubles you simply
must keep your kidneys active and
clean, and the moment you feel any
of the above symptoms, got a good
sized bottle of Stuart’s Iluchu and
Juniper Compound from any good
drug store, take a tablespoonful In a
glass of water after meals. Stop
rating sweets or sugsr. In a few
days and your kldnevs will then act
fine and natural. Stuart’s Buchti and
Junlher Is harmless to flush clogged
kidneys and stimulate them to nor
mal activity. It also neutralizes the
acids In the urine so It no longer
hurts to pass water, thus ending blad
der disorders
Everybody should take Stuart’s Bu
chu and Junlrer now and then to
keep their kidneys clean. Be sure
you get Stuart’s Iluchu and Juniper.

... THE...
Public Mind
REPLY TO CRITIC ON
MUSIC V MOVIES.
To the Herald:
In taking the liberty of making this
reply to the above mentioned article
which apeared in The Herald s Public-
Mind column, I would suggest that
before an opinion is expressed in pub
lic print it would be well for the
would-be critic to become familiar
with facts regaining the ca»e. No
doubt there are persons who demand
music rendered by skilled musicians
In addition to the most expensive film
service that oan be obtained, while
they occupy one ten cent seat in
th movies. From the cultured and re
fined tiiKte of this critical spendthrift
comes the demand for manual music.
Different cities are cited as an exam
ple. No mention is made, however, of
the admission charged in these cities.
I am engaged In furnishing the so
called “paper music’’ in Augusta, Sa
vannah and several other cities and
even in “poor little Waynesboro,” as
styled by this careless criitic, I know
that the movie managers of Augusta
are giving more value for less money
than is to be had in any city. Feature
films are exhibited daily at a stand
ard price, 10 cents; in other cities 20
arid 2» cents la usually charged.
What the general public wants is to
see the most expensive picture plays
at a reasonable and standard price,
How the managers can afford to put
up a* an expensive production as they
do now, at the price charged is cer
tainly a credit to Augusta regardless
of the fact that automatic pianos fur
nish music.
Ir. the concluding part of the crit
ics expressions comes out the real
truth or cause of complaint—manu
factured labor, yet it is a known fact
that the automatic piano factories
ftimiHh more employment to skilled
union labor and musicians than any
other line of endeavor.
In even- city there is selected a
grand opera house whore legitimate
and cultured forms of entertainment
are to tie enjoyed, skilled and cele
brated musicians assist In satisfying
the craving of the severely exacting
music lovers. Ask our esteemed friend
Mr. Richard Tant If this statement Is
correct. Augusta should be proud to
note the fact that In her -midst will
be found’ celebrated musicians aaid
artists, such a one I may mention in
the person of Honor Andonagui. This
distinguished violinist can be heard
very often. But my friend, It will be
necessary for you to produce more
than ten cents to fill a seat to
see plays and hear manual music
such as you seem to crave.
Destroying Terri plea
To The Herald:
The vandalism of the Germans In
destroying the Cathedral of Rheims
does not fpstress me overmuch. But
their vandalism In destroying peas
ants is serious. A cathedral may be
repaired dr replaced, but the destruc
tion of one honest peasant Is a mat
ter more serious. Isaiah said that
earthly temples wars trifles to Him
whose throne was the heavens and
whose footstool was the earth, but
wjio said, nevertheless: “To this man
will I look, even to him that Is poor
and of a contrite spirit, and trem
bleth at my word.” To help In hell’s
work they are praying to that Creator
of whom a gentle Knight of Labor
said: “Are not two sparrows sold
for a farthing? and one of them shall
not fall on the ground without your
Father.”
I am convinced that the Recording
Angel is a double-entry bookkeeper
who misses nothing, who never makes
a mistake, whose books are always In
balance, and who will have a settle
ment at God's pleasure, and not at
oura. A FRIEND.
