CHICAGO GRAIN MARKET
Chicago.—'Wheat continued downgrade
on huge Increase of the world's available
supply and reports of free Canadian of
fers at Liverpool. Opened unchanged to
1 1-4 lower and in ,ater dealings was
at a moderate setback all around.
Fine weather had a bearish effect on
corn. After opening 1-4 to 1-2 lower
prices recovered somewhat but still
tended to sag.
Oats developed independent strength
on buying by speculative leaders.
Provisions went lower on a fall In
hogs.
Subsequently wheat's heaviness be
came more pronounced on the magnitude
owing to primary receipts and absence
of foreign inquiry. Closed weak 3-4 to
2 1-2 net lower.
Gossip of export sales tended later to
uphold corn. Closed weak at the same
as last night to 1 1-2 down.

scribed to the convention of the National
Association of Cotton Manufacturers to

"The pink boll worm where It thrives

As a result of a hearing last May
Mr. Woodbury reported the department

often was found in seeds. "It Is be
