all in her power to alleviate the ter

of war, and also to show her patriot

President of the United States at this
crisis, I wrote to him asking how the
resources of the society might be best
applied. I have this day through a
personal interview with the Presi

autho.ized channel.-will be the tyost
effective medium through which the
Daughters of the American Revolu

there , re calling upon you, my dear
Dno 'vers, to show by your deeds that
we re worthy of our ancestors, and
of • confidence expressed by the
Pr< ;-; nt of ttie United States in our
abilil y.
Each State Regent is requested to
consider herself the Chairman of her
State, and each Chapter Regent the
Chairman of her Chapter, to raise
funds, which should be sent as fast
as obtained directly to the
Treasurer General, N. S. D. A. R.,
Mrs. Joseph E. Ransdell,
Memorial Continental Hall,
Washington, D. C„
who will at once transmit the funds
to that branch of the Red Cross where
it is most needed, under the direction
of the government authorities.
Uet us unite in one grand effort,
working together in friendly rivalry,
without Tegard to any former differ
ces. and contribute as befits the
greatest body of patriotic women in
the world, the Daughters of the Amer

Everybody Loves
A Lady Fair
And a Lady Can Have a Fair,
Clear Complexion by Using
Calcium Wafers After
Each Meal.
You women ought to hear some men
rave over a beautifully clean and shell
clear skin. There is nothing that so
charms a man or a woman as this.
Where there are pimples, blotches,
liver spots, etc., the blood is diseased
and filled with Impurities. Clean the
blood and these effects disappear at
nnce. That is what Sturat’s Calcium
Wafers do almost beyond belief.
"She Wai a Pimply Peraon Once
Upon a Time.”
Stuart’s Calcium Wafers are known
to hundreds of thousands of men and
women. Perhaps some of the faces
you admire now were made beautifully
free from skin blemishes by Stuart’s
Calcium Wafers.
You won't be always worrying about
what your friends and strangers
think of your "broken-out" face, If
you give these wonderful little wafers
a chance.
That's because they go right to the
seat of the trouble, the blood, driving
out all Impurities, strengthening It,
toning It up. And when the blood Is
clear the skin Is free from blemish,
Stuart’s Calcium Wafers are per
fectly harmless and may be taken
freely by any one. They contain ob
solutely no mercury, no poisonous
drugs, no opiates.
Stuart’s Calcium Wafers contain
Calcium Sulphide, and a mIM altera
tive—every doctor prescribes them a
hundred times a year. They are the
most effective blood-cleansers known
to man.
It doesn't matter whether you have
blackheads and pimples "something
awful,” or boils, tetter, rash, carbun
cles, ecsema. liver spots «>r a muddy
complexion, try Stuart’s Calcium Wa
fers and get a surprise In a short time.
