Jefferson Barracks today charged with

dren whose charred bodies were found

coroner’s jury returned an open verdict
after Stone testified that his wife and
children had burned to death and that

Champaign, 111. — Scott Stone, a United
States army private arrested in St.
Louis today charged with the murder

Turkey Raising
Is Profitable
The turkey can be made a source of excel
lent profit if care is taken in raising the
young. They command excellent prices, espe
cially around Thanksgiving and Christmas sea
son, when they are the popular table fowl.
Certain precautions must he abserved in
breeding and, of course, free range must he
available, but the latter is an economy, as they
will find most of their own food. Dressing
and packing for market are important consider
