DYER BLDG., COR. BTH AND BROAD,
You Never Find the Naked Truth When in Pursuit of the Phantom
UT YOU Inevitably Meet It Face to Face When You Have Apprehended the Phantom and Strange As It May Seem There Are Those Who Continually Chase the Phantom In a Commercial Way. By This I Mean Those Who Go to the Private Mark
Merchant Who Offers You His Merchandise at Phantom Prioes to Lure You Into the “Net of Special Reductions.” You Then Raise Objection to the Prico of the Article, and by What Is Termed Good Salesmanship the Salesman Weaves his Web
Tiahter and Tighter Around You Until You Have Informed Him As to the Linvt You Would Pay for the Article, and Then and There if Vour Offer Is Within the Law of Naked Truth of Its Value. The Web Is Tightened, the Knot I* Tied, and
You Are Trapped and You Awaken Later to the Sad Realization When You Face the Naked Truth that it is a Hard Job to Beat a Fellow at His Own Game. Did You Ever Stop to Think That This Practice le Almost Extinct, Except Among
Those Who Deal With the Illiterate Class? Do you Think You Can Be Justified in Putting Yourself in a Position to Be Trapped in This Manner? Would You Allow Yourself to Be Pulled in by One of the Btreet Men of One of Those Little Second-
Hand Shops Where This Phantom Price Practice Is Most Prolific? No You Wouldn't. You’d Call an Officer at Once and Demand the Arrest of the Puller-In. Well, There's Very Little Difference in the Two, Other Than the Former Is the More
Dangerous to You As the Latter Let's You Pass Unnoticed on Account of Your Appearance, Never Suspecting That You Would Tolerate Such a Practice. All Goods Here Are Marked in Plain Figures. Every purchase made here ia guaranteed to
Prove Satisfactory or Money Refunded, and Quality, Reliability, Individuality, at the Lowest Possible Prices Reign Supreme. Come to Our Store. You Are Invited to Look. To Buy ia Not an Obligation. Never Sit in a Hammock With a Fat Man
Unless You Know the Ropes. Beware of the Phantom and Embrace the Naked Truth, Here It is in and White.
