KeLLV’S
BLDG.. COR. BTH AND BROAD STS.
E ARE as strong for Buy-at-Home as any Augustan, either personally or as a business. We never have found any REAL CAUSE TO BE OTHERWISE. Every Counter, Case, Fixture for office or stor*
use, all Printing, Stationery, Office Supplies, Wrapping Paper, Twine, etc., that has been used by this store since its birth has been bought right here in Augusta or through Augustans, who repre
sent foreign houses, but who “live and let live” right here in Augusta. . But we intend to further add that we also insist on having food supplies from or produced by people within Augusta’s
shopping zone, and to further this policy among Augustans we will offer our show windows for the display of home-raised 'products of any individual within Augusta’3 shopping zone and will
place cards giving name and address of the producer, and would suggest that the producer run a small advertisement in the local papers calling attention to their display. (However, this is op
tional with the producer.) And we feel that the result will be most beneficial to Augustans and our neighbors. The Kelly Idea is to do things, not merely to talk. To help those who help us, this
w
KELLY
store has been continuously gaining ground in Augusta’s shopping zone until our express, delivery and sales books show that there is not a town on either of the railroads running out of Augusta where
Kelly’s Merchandise is not conspicuous by its presence. Then why should we not think of lending a helping hand to our friends and neighbors as well as asking their assistance? We suggest this to all Augus
tans and feel that every progressive Augusta merchant can be counted on to carry out the Kelly policy. Goods well displayed are half sold. If you have what the world wants and let the people know it
they wall make a beaten path to your door, even tho’ it be through the densest forest. One customer suggested to us: “If you don’t stop this steaxdy sta'cam of people from wearing a path in this beautifully
paved street to your door the city will enter suit against you for instigating the defacing of her property.” We knew what the people wanted. We secured their wants, moved into Quarters Previously Exiled,
let them know we hed fulfilled their wants, HENCE THE PATH. If you don’t know where we are, just look for the path across Broad and Eighth Streets. We’ll greet you at the door with votes for your favorite or
ganization, church, school or club., in addition to your Purple 1 radsng Stamps, and we’ll guarantee every article bought here to be satisfactory and exactly as represented or money refunded. That’s the Kelly Way.
