How to Get
Winter Eggs
The time to have eggs is when the market is
high. Winter always presents the best oppor
tunity to sell eggs, provided you can supply
them.
The wise poultryman times his hatches and
raises his flock in such a way that the hens
are at their maximum of egg productiveness in
winter. This can he done. It isn’t luck or ac
cident. Breed for the market and nature will
do her share to bring your egg supply up at
the season when eggs are scarce and prices
high.
Next week’s article will give some valuable
points on this subject. (Look for it on Monday
appearing exclusively in The Herald.)
SUNDAY, NOVEMBER 22.
