Augusta Y. M. C. A. Gym
nasium
A contract has been made by the
Y. M. C. A. to play on the gymnasium
floor of the Y. M. C. A. next Tuesday
at 8:30 o’clock, the team from the
American School of Osteopathy,
Kirksville, Mo. —a basketball team that
lias the reputation of being one of the
fastest that ever hit this town, and
that’s saying a whole lot, for some
mighty strong teams have visited the
city during the last few years.
An Augusta boy who has been at
tending school at the place this team
hails from recently arrived in the
city for the Xmas holidays and reports
that this team from Kirksville is a
hustler, and the locals will have to
exert their best efforts if they expect
to remain undefeated after the 22nd.
The accommodation for a large crowd
is being made and it will not be su*h
a rush for good seats as it was be
fore.
A large crowd attended the Athens
game, hut a larger one is expected for
the coming contest.
