GRADUATED FROM JOHN
MILLEDGE TRAINING SCHOOL.
Seven young ladies received their cer
tificates of training Friday afternoon at
the John Milledge school when the clos
ing exercises of the Augusta Training
School for Teachers were held.
Miss Helen Hart welcomed the guests
and Miss Bessie Cooper read a splendid
paper on “Old and New Training.’’ A
chorus by the little pupils of the training
school was an attractive number and two
excellent choruses were rendered by the
{graduating class under the direction of
Miss Harris.
The exercises wore beautiful and im
pressive and at the conclusion Mr. Law
ton Evans, with appropriate address, pre
sented certificates to the graduates:
