10— That there are no facilities for
storing hats, books, raincoats and
pmbrellas: the boys have to carry

11— That from twenty-five to fifty
trains per day pass within fifteen feet
of class rooms making teaching
practically impossible at times on ac
count of noise, smoke and soot.
12— That the Old City Hospital
building, housing 400 hoys throughout

15— That for the past three years,

matter of great Inconvenience for the
boys practicing there.
20— That the splendid standing of
the Academy as a school Is one of the
greatest advertisements Augusta has!
No Augustan, however, can be
proud of Its facilities now.
21— That the trustees of the Acad
emy intend to add their funds SIOO,-
000 to the proceeds of the b>rl issue,
giving to the tax payers of Richmond
county a $400,000 plant for an expen
diture of $300,000 of their money.
22 That the board of trustees will
not combine their funds with those
of the Board of Education If the total
cost of the Greater Academy exceeds
$400,000.
23 That there will not be two high
schools for Hoys, but that the Greater
Academy will still he the Richmond
Academy on larger grouml»»and with
larger grounds and with larger build
ings. for 1.000 students. The old
buildings wilt be used for such pur
poses as the trustees of the Academy
may afterwards determine.
24 That the net cost to give the
hoys of Augusta a splendid plant, with
attractive surroundings and adequate
facilities for one thousand students
will lie about fifty cents per year, on
one thousand doljars assessed value.
25 That one-seventh of the total
issue will be spent in building two
rural schools. The rural districts are
taxed for school purposes, contain
one-seventh of the votes, one-fourth
of the school population, and one
tenth of the taxable property of the
county.

in favor of the bonds to carry the
election.
