when Ike Joselove, ftoose Day and
Ca.pt. John Fletcher all reported
for practice. The prospect* of
these three stars getting back Into
the Uno-up Is considered very good
at present, and unless another ac
cident befalls then, before Satur
day, at least Joselove and Day will
be ready to answer the call. Cap
tain Fletcher Is still having trouble
with a recalcitrant knee that re»
fuses to get well In spite of all the
doctors' efforts to affect a cure.
.Some day the Bulldogs are going

Important on tho Bulldogs' sched
ule as their conference hopes can
either bo raised or lowered Into the
dust. Vanderbilt has always been
Georgia's hardest team to beat and
a victory Saturday will supply them
with tho necessary confidence to
carry them through tho remainder
of the season with vastly more
chances of success than a defeat
would. The records of those an
nual grid encounters show the
Commodores to have won the ma
jority of the games, but the Bull
dogs so far appear to have one of
tho strongest teams In the south
and a good chants for the title If
more hard luck does not hit them.
The last scrimmage before the
Vanderbilt gam* will In all prob
ability be held Wednesday after
noon wllth a light Workout sched
uled to take place Thursday before
departing for the scene of con
flict Friday. Coach Woodruff Is
leaving later than lest year for
psychological reasons In order that
his men may not have a chance to
play the game over In their minds
before It actually starts, which he
thinks was partly the trouble last
year. About thirty men will be
taken on the trip, those going to
be announced later.
Rummage will be received at 1288
Broad on Friday from four to six
o'clock. The proceeds will bo used
for the new l’arlsh House, now
being erected.

How to Make Pine
Cough Syrup at Home

and you about 9-.
Pine is used in nearly all prescrip
tions and remedies for coughs. The
reason is that pine contains several
element! that have a remarkable
effect in soothing and healing the
membranes of the throat and chest.
Pine cough syrups are combinations
of pine and svrup. The “syrup'’ part
ia usually plain sugar syrup.
To make the best pine cough remedy
that money can buy, put 2*/, ouneca
of l’inex in a pint bottle, and fill up
with home-made sugar syrup. Or
you can use clarified molasses, honev,
or corn syrup, instead of sugar svrup.
Either way, you make a full pint
more than you can buy ready-made
for three times the money. It is
pure, good and tastea very pleasant.
You can feel this take’ hold of a
cough or cold in a way that means
business. The cough mar be dry,
hoarse and tight, or may be persist*
ently loose from the formation of
phlegm. The cause is the same—in
flamed membranes—and thia Pinex
and Svrup combination will stop it
—usually in 24 hours or less. Splen
did, too, for bronchial asthma, hoarse
ness, or any ordinary throat ailment.
Pinex is a h'ghlv concentrated com

for its prompt effect upon cougha.

Dandruffy Heads
Become Hairless
If you want plenty of thick, beauti
ful, glossy, silky hair, do by all means
get rid of dandruff, for it will starve
your hair and ruin it if you don’t.
It doesn’t do much good to try to
brush or wash it out. The only sure
way to get rkl of dandruff Is to dis
solve it, then you destroy It entirely.
To do this, get about four ounces of
ordinary liquid arvon; apply It at
night when retiring; use enough to
moisten the scalp and rub it In gent
ly with the finger tips.
By morning, most if not all, of your
dandruff will be gone, and two or
three more applications will complete
ly dissolve and entirely destroy every
single sign and trace of it.
You will find, too, that all Itching
and digging of the scalp will stop, and
your hair will look and feel a hun
dred times better. You can get liquid
arvon at any drug store. Four ounces
is all you will need, no matter how
much dandruff you have. This simple
remedy never fails.—Adv.
