morning from Roclielle, wliere he had

She died Friday evening and was buried

lar aud highly respected citizen of Jesup.
His many friends wish him joy in bis last

the jaw. Jim sank to his knees,
clinging to the ropes. His face was j
contorted with pain, and he could
not breathe. He tried in vain to
rise, but each time sank back in
agony with his hands over his
heart.
Slowly the fatal seconds were
counted and when he raised his

went up from the crowd. Bob
stood overlooking his fallen rival,
while waiting to administer the
finishing blow if Jnn got up, but
his caution was unecessary. Jim's
seconds' rushed into the ring and i
hustled him to his corner.
