JESUP DOES HONOR

DEESTRICK SCHOOL
SCORES BIG HIT
Memorial day in its full
ficance was observed in Jesup
Tuesday and at the school house
the patriotic sentiment was
source of gratitude to the
to feel that which each
year the obsc ranee becomes more
marked and that the years inten¬
sify, rather than dim. the memo¬
ries of their various achievement.
Memorial day means something
in our South.
The following program for the
day was in the following order.
(1)- Reville, (2)- Music”Blaze

welcome Mrs. E. S. Majette, (4)
Pra.ver. Rev. Baxter, (ft) “Old

Wilkins, Mrs. J. G. Tuten, Mrs.
Clark, Mr. Clark, Mr. Noe.

(7) Talks by th- veterans, (8)
Music nixie (9)- Hymn “God be

are thinned by the grim reaper

One of the most enthuisastic re¬

tear dramatic organization was
given to the members of The
Jesnp Dramatic Club on last
Thursday Evening. The play pre¬
sented was the “Deestrick Sktile"
and the audience found boundless
amusement in the play thruout. It
was so fast and good fun that, the
play v>*3 repeated on last Tuesday
evening. When tho hands of the
clock pointed 8.15 not a vacant seat
was to be had at any price, and
standing room was at premium,
Much of the success of the play
is due to Mr. Noe and Miss Inez
