Dr. id D. How the aboved named gentlemen were enabled to arrive at such a uetini te conclusion, we are unable to say, as the gentlemen belong to that class who “scont the battle.afar oft”’and have not made ;heir investigation from a knowledge which they might have obtained had they vis ited the locality in which the case was reported. Dr, Keakins appli ed to the Chattanooga authorities, for a consulting physicians for the purpose of determining whether or not it was a genuine ease of yellow foyer, but Chattanooga preferod making up her opinion from facts obtained in Chattanooga, anti troin what old women said of the case — the old woman said it was malarial and of-course it was malaria!, so far as Chattanooga wanted to know.
