We have received orders for tickets from twelve candidates, and are very desirous that all oth ers e nd in the ir orders at once that all maybe struck together. Crabtree, white, dreamed the other night that his tanyard wheel had bcen-stoped by a musk rat which had beeircaught between the wheel and the plank flooring underneath it. Before getting up from bed Mr. Crabtree, gave his wife a minute account of his dream, and was so impressed with it tha he went down to the tanyard, and saw everything was just as he had seen it in his dream. Resolyed that it is the duty of the House to so expedite the im portant business to reach an ad journment; and the following bills ought to bo taken up and disposed of: let. A bill to authorize the W. & A. R R to be released. 2nd. To support a six months free school. 3rd: A bill to require corpora tions to redeem any thing issued in payment for wages on regular pay days to bearrer. 4th. A bill to require all Railroad companies to pay taxes for county purposes through which they run. oth. Committees are required to report upon the same, and report to the House at once. 6th. Moved that these resolutions be adopted. Motion lost by Wire Garss members voting against it, aad the bill refer d to Committee on. bills. By noting theTabove communi cation our readers will n see how Mr Tatum is fulfilling everything that his moshsanguin triends hoped for in the election of our young and active Representative. The reso lution was aimed to expedite the business of Legislature and to dis pose of the most important ques tions before the forth days expired Why such a resolution was not passed at once without reference to a committee is hard to understand and may be hard for some to ex plain who voted against it, unless some rulelof .the "House blocked its passage. It is with a sympathizing and sad heart that I pen a few lines in memory of Laura, daughter of Wm. F. and Mary E, Nethery, who was born April 16th 1871, and en tered into the beautiful land of rest on July 2nd 1888, her death was caused by a relapse of typhoid fever, her suffering was intense but she bore it patiently, she was al ways cheerful at home and atschoo er vavacity made hor exceedingly ! popular with Teacher and School mates, Pleasant in timioanof, :■ ?- j fable in deposition.
