Enrror BANNER: People are gen

farm work. Everything is put up
on the shine—new rails, new
boards, new houses, ne v chimneys,

We have within one mile of this

one taught by Prof. Ezra Stith at

Esq. Norman’s, taught by Miss An

chaps we have, Glad to say, too,
that we have two churches near
by—one Methodizt and one Mis
sionary Baptist—both strong in
members, and in moderate spiritu
al condition, we trust.
The above named churches are
in harmony with each other, so far
as we know. Thig is pleagant and
delightful. The reason of this, is,
that, a Christian spivit prevails,
and wheve there is temperance and
brotherly kindness, there is peace
on earth and good will to man ;and
the contrary is horrible. po
We also have a good raerchant
