SUPERIOR COURT. {
Court opened last Monday at 3
o’clock and a number of eivil cuges
were tried. We only heard a part
of Judge Branham’s charge to the
grand jury, and we think we never
heard a better one. He was very
clear on all points of law that
related te work of the grand jury,
especially the road, gaming law.
Judge Branham said that liquor,
gaming and vagrancy earg:d a ma
jority of the criminal suits in our
courts.
The criminal docket was taken
Thursday morning. We will give
all the ¢ases tried next week. It is
thought now that court will hold
most all of next week. Them are
quite a number oi civil suits Which
are old and will be very tedious to
try yet.
We call attention to the adver
tisement ot J. P. Boatiight’s hivte)
at Bremen. v
