dition to their already roomy hotel.

Gene Loveless says there isa flea to
every square inch in Buchanan. As Mr.
L. covers a good portion of Buchanan’s
dirt he gets a share of the little monsters.

ing Saturday evening. We learn Col.
Thomas had fine luck—eatehing 4 fish

The Literary Society decided last meet
ing to pienic some time in May, ‘down on
Beach creek near Mr. J. W. Tomlinson’s
farm. ZThe society is making ample
preparations to have a good time. Ev!
erybody will be invited to attend. A
short programme will be arranged to be
carried out just after dinner, The soei
ety is doing a good work and deserves
the suport of all.

church disbanded, are requested to meet
the eommittee appointed by the Harmor
ny Baptist Association at its last session,
in, Buehanan at the church on Saturday,
