glars'last Friday night, but so far

chased a large belt of timber in
that part of the state and will
move to it about the 25th of . this
month for the purpose of convert

Homer Cheney died at 2 o’clock
this morning of dropsy, after
three months suffering. Homer
will be remembered by many
drummers, as he used to drive for
them when gnite small, = Ie was
very smart and was the idol of
the family., He joined the Meth
odist church when a mere child
aud was baptised by emersion.
He manifested great composure
and never murmered. It is hoped
he is resting with Jesus. Oh,
that God may bless the living
members of the family with His
grace and sustain them in this
bereavement aud give a joyful
union by and by. :
