The campaign was one of the
most heated in Georgia's history
but the election passed off-quietly.
)Everett gwept the distriet with
}the exception of three counties.
‘Everett’s friends are highly elat
‘ed over the result, while Felton's
friends are sadly disappointed
‘but ase, or should be, contented,
for a majority of the voters of the
7th Congressional district say by
thewr votes that Mr. Everett is
their choice.
