Ft; ETON IN LINE.
Atlanta. June 6—The pri
mary here is rather quiet though
the fight is on in earnest. Allen
D. Candler and Judge Turner
will be nominated. It is believed
■
that Cook will defeat Hardin for
Secretary of State and that ().
B. Stephens will be nominated
for Commissioner of Agricul
ture.
THOMAS TOO.
'Thomasville, . June 6.—The
friends of Col. Candler are con
fident that Thomas county will
give Alien D. Candler more
votes than it will give to Berner
and Atkinson combined. Indica

GLYNN IN DOUBT.
I
Brunswick, June 6. —'The
friends of Judge Atkinson are
making heroic efforts to carry
Glynn, the Judge’s home coun
ty for him. On the other hand
Candler’s friends are confident
of victory. The Brunswick Times
. has made a noble fight against
the Flynn county ring and in
behalf of good government and
clean men. 'The fight between
the factions is hot but the
chances are in favor of Candler
and good government faction.
CLARK GOING RIGHT.
Athens, June 6—Clark coun
y will be found in the Candler
column tonight by fully 300
majority.
HALL HEARD FROM.
Gainesville, June 6. —'The

late hour this afternoon, cover
every section of the state; and
while from some quarters comes
the report that a light vote is
being tolled, from every quar

winning a glorious victory, 'lhe
Hall County Candler Club is
wild with enthusiasm. Judge
Estes believes that south Georgia
will be found almost as solid for
the “Plowboy of Pigeon Roost
as north Georgia is. The county
is giving Howard Thompson an
overwhelming majority over
Congressman Tate. Can Iler is
certain to win and our people
