REMARKABLE DEATHS.
M< thir and son Pass Away on ehe
Same day.
| Butler, Mich., Jan. 3.—Mrs. Hen
ry Loren and her sou, George, died
suddenly here. The mother was
years old, the son only twenty yeans
younger, and in the'r relatione they'
were more like brother and sister
than like mother and son.
The son was born on the same day
o’the month that his mother was.
lie carried the coincidence by marry
ing on the same day of the month
that his mother was married. They
often commented on this fact, and
the devoted son always maintained
that the coincidence would not end
with those two great events of one’s
life—birth and marriage.
Events justified George Loren’s
prophe.cy. Jn the morning the moth
er succumbed to the infirmaties of
old age and passed away at noon. To
the surprise of all, the devoted son
did not appear to grieve. He treated
his mother’s death as a matter of
course. A neighbor volunteered to
purchase a casket for the mother.
George gave the directions. “And
while you are buying the casket for
mother,” he said “I want you to buy
one for me, for I am sure I will not
live the day out.”
The friend was thunderstruck, for
George Loren, feeble though he was,
H eemed to be far from death. But in
tle afternoon he took bis bed, and
early the next morning he quietly
passed away.
About a year ago I took ’a violent
attack of la grippe, I coughed day
and night for about six weeks; my
wife then suggested that I try
Chamberlain’s Cough Remedy. At
first I could see no difference, but
still kept taking it, and booh
found that it was what I needed.
If I got no relief from one dose I
took another, aud it was only a
few days until I was free from the
cough . I think people in general
ought to knew the value of thie
remedy, and I take pleasure in ac
knowledging the benefit I have re
ceived from it. Madison Mustard,
