“Romo Ga., Febuary 15.—The
discovery of rich gold deposits in
Paulding county, some 80 miles east
of Rome, has csuied a great "deal <f
excitement in that neighborhood.
The report hero is that the develop
ment of a surface vein Ims shown
wonderful deposits, and thrown the
neighborhood into a fever. Several
citizens from Paulding are here and
they confirm the report. Interest in
minerals of all kinds are at a high
