A STARTLING PLATFORM.
Editor Hustler of Rome:

3. Reduce the policemen’s salary
per month to $45
4. Curtail the police force two
less than present number.

L. Lytle.
Mr, LYTLE'S CARD
Mr. Editor: —Please allow me
space in your paper to say to the
public and especially the voting pub

the city’s expense, in the Fire de

of the drivers and their helpers, but
to cut off the list of the various com
par ies. reducing each company,s mem
bership to 25 able bodied men.
