In the fight Capt. Price also
captured a large quantity of ordi'
nance, many stands of arms, 65

among them the Provost marshal
of old Cassville.
Erve Price will finish up his march
to the grave, with a “game leg, '

one of Gods noblemen, is what he,
calls a “solid blue stocking demo
oral" and a minister of the gospel oi

His party has never found him any
where except in the thickest of the
fight and his church has never turaed
to him and found him absent. Loval
to his friends, open to his foes he is
a man to love and a man to depend

would not forsake his church, forget
his party or desert a fiiend, He is
not bu'lt that way and does'nt know

fears of toruble on account of the
! presence of the crowds incident to
[ the coming of Coxj’s army, have tak
en the precaution of adding fifty five
carbines and twenty revolvers to the
treasury’s supply of arms.

divided into two reliefs, and in addi
tion to two or three dozen revolvers
there have always been thirty five re
volers the racks in the office of the
captain of the watch, sufficient to

crowds of haugers on of Coxey's army
that are expected to arrive in the city
during the coming week.

man in his command at the treasury
