If Mr lurner is a candidate for the
lower House of congress and intends
to accept the nomination, it would
be no more than in good taste for him
to withdraw from the senatorial race,
and vice versa. Occupying a position
of offering for positions will
surely defeat him for the Senate, and
opposition to his senetorial candieacy
will be strengthened by the weak
ness of his dual attitude, which will
be construed as selfevident of his
doubt of election to the Senate,which
