and see how things are moving

‘ I know that, Maddox,” said the
President, ’ but they are not a bit
more anxious for silver than I am.

our terms before two years.”
M r . Maddox left Saturday perfectly
satisfied with the outlook in Gordon
county, and confident of the almost
unanimous indorsement of the Dem
