Speaking of Bands. Professor
Ford, says that the South Rome
Silver Cornet Band, after some
internal dissensions resulting m
the departure of some of the char
ter members has about recuperated
the new material adding greatly to
the organzatiou 8 strength.He says
the South Rom' ,or Fifth Ward

Aud another thing I learned
from the clever young musician is
that he is going to giv a Nevin
Opera House the best vchestra it
has ever known. He has six of as
e’ever musicians as ever sat before
the Rome foot-lights—smong
them being Prof. Edward Buchan
nan, the great violinist of Atlanta.
Emory Ford is a born .musician
and lam confident that his or
chestra for the seasons of 1894
and 1895 will be “N x 1 ”in every
respect.
