In Floyd, there were more than
four thousand registered votes,
and yet, though less than twenty
five hundred of them voted, the
Feltons would compare Floyd to
Richmond. But then Tom Wat

the Feltons are imitating Tom
and trying to counterfeit Tom

The intensity of confined sound

Isle of Wight, where there is a well
2(0 feet deep and twelve feet in
diameter. When a pin is dropped

Mr. Rankin seems to have
“Reckoned without his host,”
when he flopped over for Hopper
Felton. It is quite suspicious that
he thought populism would win in
the 7th, and that Felton would be
called to cash his checks ere anoth
er two years passed by, and he
would be selected to take the Dr.’s
place. But, alas, the Dr. was over
come and flopped over dead, and
were he now living to testify, he
could say of a truth : it D not best
for thee to flop.—Paulding New

The North Georgia Conference

that brother Byrd, of The Hust
