OOTHCALOGA

Adairsville, June 10.
To fully appreciate the beauties
of Oothcaloga Valley ona ought to
see it i ow. Many binders are now
running in the numerous fields of
wheat and the shocks are begin
ning to stud the view, and thickly,
too. All say that the yield will be
very fine, indeed, this year. But
for beauty, this season with us
cannot be excelled. By the end of
this week a great deal will be cut
down.
The street com mi tee of the
council has had some pretty work
done on the upper end of Main
street recently. It has now been
straightened out, making it broad
er than it was, and addirg to the
beauty of that street for a drive.

Mr. Daniel W. Fink, 139 Church Street,

of my fa’mily suffered from asthma for
a long time. Her distress during the
paroxysms of short breathing was very
great. She tried a great many kinds of
treatment without obtaining more than
temporary relief. Finally, I placed her
under treatment with the Alunyon Reme

Herbs, and I am pleased to testify that
this treatment has completely cured her.”

Mac-in, Ga,, June 10.—The body
of Joe Sprinz, the merchant mur

ago, was exhumed in the presence
of a detective, the Chief of Police
and the Sexton. The theory of the
detective is that the man was kill
ed by a blow belivered from the
front and not from behind, as has
been the theory up to the present.
The arrest of Dr. Kilpatrick,
who was always thought to be the
murdered man’s friend, is the sen
sation of the hour. The detective,
in making the arrest, claims to
have full circumstantial evidence
against Kilpatrick, and he gives as
a motive that the doctor was in
love w : th Sprinz’s wite. Kilpatrick
was one of the pallbearers at the
funeral here. He it was who dim
ed to have had. $1,0(0 in the pos
session of SprifiZ. It is said now,
however, that the evidence will
show that Sprinz returned the mon
