If in order, the Hustler of

It’s a good thing Van Wyck

One worn out su

lief that if a man inb rits weak lungs from
his parents he is pretty sui to die of con

a man will only take proper care of himsc’.t
he will really be safer f:eoa-umption

Carelessness will develop a tendency to
consumption in any body.
The lungs are compost d of very d< lic.rle,
sensitive tissue, even in the healthiest per

attack of tainted blood If the blood is al

The foreign reviews have had a
good deal to say lately about
Anatole Leroy-Beaulieu’s paper
on “The Transformation of Rus
-1 sta,” which appeared in Revue des ■
deux Mondes of August. Th’
first half of the translation of the
article appeared in last month's
International and is concluded in
' November number, so that
those who were unable to
1 read the article in the original
are given a chance to witness the
solution of ajgreat problem by one
of the greatest minds of the age.
Hon. O. B. Strphens is clearly
in the race for Commissionei of
Agriculture, and is developing
much strength. Mr. Stephens
will be acceptable to a large sec
tion of Georgia. He is a practi
cal farmer, and not tied on to any
political clique. The people of
Georgia are long-headed and they
are rallying to Stephens of Terrell.
—Americus Times Recorder.
The Foot of an Egyptian Prin
cess” aud “A Moonbeam from the
German, and “Cause for Divorce”
from the French, in the November
International are particularly good
short stories, unusually bright
and entertaining. The illustra
tions of the first story are very
clever.

Col. Nellie Ely, of Nashville,
the young lady who has a posi

in a deserved manner the merit

The “gall” of such Republican

J. E. Brown has the makings

Judge Spences R. Atkinson, the
new Railroad Commissioner, is
from Brunswick, He is a man of
ability and will sustain Governor

Outward applications do not cure, t hey

Emollients muy palliate, they cannot
abolish the evil. There is but one sure
way out, and that is to eliminate the
taint from the blood.
There is one remedy t hat can effect this,
and it is the only one that, so far hs we
know, has almost invariably succeeded
even where tlie system lias been poisoned
by long years of taint, and the ravages to
be repaired are tremendous. That remedy
is Hood's Sarsaparilla. Read this:
“ My daughter wus afflicted with im
pure blood. There were running sores
nil over her body and they caused her
much suffering. We tr’ed medicines that,
were recommended as blood purifiers,
but could not see tbat they did any good.
A friend told me about Hood’s Sarsapa
rilla and I began giving the girlthismed
icine. The result was that she was per
fectly cured after taking a few bottles.
She has had no symptoms of scrofula
sores since that time.” MARIETTA M.
