TIIE A l TCM. I TIG OR GA N In presenting the Automatic Organ, we bold* ly announce th« greatest triumph in mu-ical in etrumeuta of the age. During the past half centuiy, the Fiench and Germans have manufac tured reed instruments with double bellows, and two pedals for the fe*»t to operate ; but the want of the reversed or exhaustion bellows (which is the only bellows used in our instruments ) made it impossible for them to produce the mel low, rich and musical tone for which our instiu. ments are celebrated. Another objection to this method of blowing was, that both feet being occupied, no opportu nity was offend for the management of the swell’ With the past two years, instruments constructed on this European plan of “ double blowers” have been manufactured in this coun tiy, and to counteract this difficulty (want of a swell) a lever has been projected from the centie (f the instrument, to act upon the swell, and operated by the knee The inconvenience and contortion necessary to eft’ ct this object, are disagreeable enough to a gentleman, but to a lady the use of such an appendage is nearly im possible. Our Automat c device obviates this difficulty entirely, the simple act < f blowing with a more or less force giving the desired increase or de crease in the volume of the tone. We predict for this invention a brilliant future. THE MELODEON AND SCHOOL ORGAN. For seventeen years the superior excellence of our Melodeons has riot been questioned, and for two years past the enormous demand has made it impossi le for uk to meet our orders promptly With our increased facilities we feel warranted in assuring « ur patron* that their ordets will be promptly met, and solicit a continuance of their patronage. GEORGE *. PRINCE & CO. Caution to Pijrciiasrbs All of our instruments have upon the name boards, in full, “GEO A. PRINCE & CO.”— When a dealer represents any other instrument ; as “ the same as outs.” it is usually a mere at tempt to sell an inferior instrument, on which he can make a larger profit. P.
