ISAAC BROOKS’, JR., CASE!
H o and see him and you will say the hair has not been
told!!!
We the undersigned having visited Mr. Issac
Brooks, Jr., at the office of Messrs. Rowand &
Walton, 373 Market street, Philadelphia, consider
his case the most remarkable one we have ever
witnessed or heard oi.
His disease was Scrofula, and terrible must have
been his twelve years’ conflict with the destroyer!
His Palate, the entire roof of his Mouth,Nose,Upper
Lip, and lower lid of the Eye have been destroy
ed, his Face nearly eaten up, and part of the Jaw
Bone carried away. And yet we can give no de
scription ot his case.
Mr. B. informs us that in January last, the whole
interior of his mouth, as well a s most of his face
was a mass of deep and painful ulcers.
On the 14th of January last, ne commenced ta
king Dr. Cullen’slndian Vegetable Panacea,which
checked the disease in a few days, and from that
time the cure has progressed without intermiss’on.
New flesh has supplied the place of the deep ul
cers, and though badly disfigured, his face is sound
and his general health is restored.
We are assured thatm the treatment of Mr.
orooks’easeno Mercurials, Ointments, or Caustic
applications have been used, —in fact, the Panacea
clone, has wrought this wonderful change,

A CERTAIN CURE FOR THE PILES.
Dr. Cullen’s Indian Vegetable Piles Remedy,
Is a domestic preparation, which has been used
with entire success for many years. Being an in
ternal medicine, it has decided prefeience over
jutward applications, which are but paliatives and
not curatives. This medicine acts upon the dis
eased parts, producing healthy action, and a per
manent cure, which we warrant, or refund the mo
ney.

Dr. Cullen’s Indian Vegetable Remedy.
Warrented to cure, or the money returned.—
This medicine is prepared from an Indian receipt,
obtain ed from one of them in the far West at great
expense. Those who have been familiar with the
Indians know that they can a«d do cure Venerial
without the knowledge of Murcury, Balsam, or
anything of the kind The afflicted have now an
opportunity of being cured without the danger of
Mercury or the unpleasant use of Balsam. The
medicine is pleasant to the taste, and leaves no
smell on the breath.
Dr, Cullens Vegetable Indian Specific for

This medicine is fast taking the place of every
preparation heretofore used for diseases arising
from weaknes or other causes. All thatis neces

It speaks for innopeut iu its operation
and no injury can arise from its use at any time.

ELECTRIC WASHING FLUID,
For washing in hard or soft water.
finHIS is the only genuine article to be found
X in the world } and possesses double the pow
er of any ibing ever discovered for washing
clothes, at a trifling expense, doing away with
wash boards at once. In fact, it seems to be the
long sought Phi'osopher’s Stone, or universal sol
vent } seeming a magical preparation, its operas
tion being of the most astonishing character. A
common sized washing may be done with one gill
of this Fluid, in less than two hours. It softens
and removes the dirt, leaving the articles of the
most brilliant whiteness. It being as harmless in
its operations as pure water, and clothing will
wear mueh longer than when tubbed to pieces by
the common method of washing.
This Fluid is a powerful agent, to be used in all
cases wheie soap is required, particularly for
cleansing milk utensils, cleaning windows and
paint, scouring floors ; in short, it is beyond a pre
cedent, as its use is universal in the washing world.

For lh« Cure of
COUGHS, COLDS, HOARSENESS,
BRONCHITIS, WHOOPING-COUGH,
CROUP, ASTHMA, AND
CONSUMPTION
THIS remedy is offered to the community
with the confidence we feel in an article
which seldom fails to realize the happiest effects
that can be desired. So wiie is the field of its
usefulness, and so numerous the cases of its cures,
that almost every section of the country abounds
in persons, publicly known, who have been re
stored trom alarming and even desperate diseases
of the lungs by its use. When once tried, its su
periority over every other medicine of its kind, is
too apparent to escape observation, and where its
virtues are known, the public no longer hesitate
what antidote to employ for the distressing and
dangerous affections ot the pulmonary organs,
which are incident to our climate. And not only
the formidable attacks upon the lungs, but for the
milder varieties ot Colds, Coughs, Hoarseness, &c.
and for children it is the pleasantest and safest
medicine that can be obtained. No family should
be without it, and those who have used it, never
will.
Read the opinion of the following gentlemen,
who will be recognised in the various sections of
country where they are located—each and all as
merchants of the first class and of the high
est character—as the oldest and most extensive
wholesale dealers in Medicine with an experience
unlimited on the subject of which they speak, U
there is any value in the judgement of experience,

the GEORGIA SARSAPARILLA. It has been

called the turn of life
Dr. Dennis prepares his Sarsaparilla from the
pure fresh Southern roots aryl nothing else, and
has put his price as low as cau be afforded for as
pure and genuine article. To prevent imposition,
he has had Georgia Sarsaparilla blown in the bot
tles. Were it necessary, certificates from ce
entitled to the highest regard could be given. The
purity of the article, its adaptness to Southern dis
eases, and the preference of Southern people to
the productions of their own climate, is sufficient
to recommend this preparation.
Price, %\ per bottle; 6 bottles for $5. Liberal
discount made to those purchasing large quantities.
What is the use ol going or sending" to the North
for Sarsaparilla, when we have so much in Geor
