INFALLIBLE tor reuewing, L.vigo ating and

dandruff, and all affections of the scalp, and curing
eruptiouson th-.- skin, uisea es of the glands, mus
cles and integuments, and relieving si;ugs. cuts,
bruises, sprains. 6lc. With this preparation '‘there
,is no such word as fail.” The first journals in
America, medical men of the highest eminence,
prominent cit.zens of ail professions, and lauies
who have used it for years in their creasing rooms
and nurseries, admit with one accoid, that for mi
patting Vigr .gloss, luxuriance and curl to the
hair eradicating scurf and dandruff, heating
wound-*, • aring contusions, sprains stings, &c.,
and relieving diseases of the skin, the glands and
the m iscies.ii has no equal among the multitude
of compounds advertised in the public prints, or
fl a use in private practice. In cheapness as we ia»
efficacy, Barry’s Fricopherous is unrivalleu. The
immense cash sale 9 of the article have enabled
* * the inventor to supply it at retail, at 25 cents per
w bottle, which is from 50 to 100 per cent less tnan
the or ceof any ether preparation tor the hair now
gtoun ■ se. The scien itic treatise on the hair and the
wKskin, (embracing valuable diiections lor the cui-
and preservation of Nature’s choicest orna
meat,) in which each bottle is enclosed, is alone
worth the money.
The affinity between th * membranes which con
stitute the skin, and the hair which draws itssus
enance from this triple envelope is very close. —
All diseases of the hair originate in the skin of the.
head. If the pores of the sea p are clogged, or it
the blood and other fluids do not circulate freely
through the ima.. . easels which feed the root with
moisture, and impart to the fibres, the result is
V scurf, daudrutf, she-Jding of the hair, graveness,
' / dryness and harshness ot the ligaments, and entire
baldnes-, as the case may oe. Stimulate t e skin
to healthful action with the Tricop;,erous, and the
to?pit vessels recovering their activity, will anni
hilate the disease, in aii affections of the skin,
* and of the subset ata of muscles and integuments,
the process and the effect are the same. It is
upon the skin, the muscular fibre, and the giands,
that the Tricoph<-rous has its specific action, aud
in all affections aud injury ot these organs, it is a
t tvereign remedy.

We the undersigned! having visited Mr. Tssac

ais case the most remarkable one we have ever
witnessed or heard of.
liis disease was Scrofula, and terrible must have
oeen liis twelve years’ conflict with the destroyer!
ills Palate, the entire roof of his Mouth,Nose,Upper
Lip, and lower lid of the Eye have been destroy
ed, iiis Face nearly eaten up, and part of the Jlw
Bone carried away. And yet we can give no de
scription of his case.
Mr. B. informs us th at in January last, the whole
aterior of his mouth, as well a most of his face
was a mass of deep and painfui ulcers.
On the 14th oi January last, ae commenced ta
king I)r. Cullen’s Indian Vegetable Panacea,which
checked the disease in a few days, and from that
time the cure has progressed without intermission.
New flesh has supplied the place of the deep ul
cers, and though badly disfigured, his face is sound
and his general health is restored.
We are assured that m the treatment of Mr.
Brooks’case no Mercuiials, Ointments, or Caustic
applications have been used, —in fact, the Panacea
elone,has wrought this wonderful change.

For the Cure of
COUGHS, COLDS, HOARSENESS,
BRONCHITIS, WHOOPING-COUGH,
CROUP, ASTHMA, AND
CONSUMPTION
THIS remedy is ottered to the community
with'• hd confidence we feel in an article
which seldom fails to realize .he happiest effects
that can be desired So woe is the fie<d of its
usefulness, and so numerous the cases o* its cur<*s,
that almost even section of the country abounds
in persons, publicly known, who have been re
stored from alarming and even desperate diseases
of the lungs by its use. When once tried, its su
periority over o her medicine of its kind, is
too apparent to e cape observation, and where its
virtues are known, the public no longer hesitate
what antidote to employ for the distressing and
cangerous affections of the | ulmonary organs,
which are incident to our climate. Andnotonljr
the formidable attacks upon the megs, but for the
milder varieties of Colds. Coughs, Hoarseness. &c.
and for children it is the pleasantest and safest
medicine that can be obtained. No family should
be without it, and those N\ho have used it, never
will.
Read the opinion o* the following gcntiemen,
who will be recognized in the various sections of
country where they are located —each and all as
merchants of the first class and of the high
est. character—as the oldest and n ost extensive
wholesale dealers in Medicine with an experience
unlimited on the subject of which they speak. If
there is any value in the judgement of experience,
