The affi.uty between t.h ■ membranes which con

All disea-e* of tne hair originate in the skin ot the
head. If the pores of the sea p are clogged, or i<
the blood and other fluids d > not circulate freely
the sma . . essels which feed the root with
JKmoisture, and impart to the fibres, the result is
dandruff, shedding of the hair, graveness,
dryness and narshness ol tbe ligaments, and entire
baldness, as the case may oe. Stimulate t e sain

the process aud the effect are the same. It is
fifpon the skin, the muscular fibre, and the glands,
that the Tricopb*-ious has its specific action, and
in alt affeettous aud injury of these organs, it is a

Read the names of the gentlemen, testifying
to the cure of Mr. Brooks. They certain

containing more testimony, and more convincing

ISAAC BROOKS 7 , JR., CASE!
Go and see him and you wi.l say the half has not been
told!!!
We the undersigned having visited Mr. Issac
Brooks, Jr., at the office of Messrs. Rowand &
Walton, 373 Market street,Philadelphia, consider
his case the most remarkable one we have ever
witnessed or heard of.
His disease was Scrofula, and terrible must have
been his twelve years 7 conflict with the destroyer!
His Palate, the entire roof of his Mouth,Nose,Upper
Lip, and lower lid of the Eye have been destroy
ed, nis Face nearly eaten up, and part of the Jaw
Bone carried away. And yet we can give no de
scription of his case.
Mr. B. informs us that in January last, the whole
interior of his mouth, as well a- most of his face
was a mass of deep and painful ulcers.
On the 14th of January last, ae commenced ta
king Dr. Culien’slndian Vegetable Panacea,which
checked the disease in a few days, and from that
time the cure has progressed without intermission.
New flesh has supplied the place of the deep ul
cers, and though badly disfigured, his face is sound
and his general health is restored.
We are assured thatm the treatment of Mr.
Brooks 7 case no Mercurials, Ointments, or Caustic
applications have been used, —in fact, the Panacea
clone, has wrought this wonderful change.

A CERTAIN CURE FOR THE PILES.
Dr. Cullen’s Indian Vegetable Piles Remedy,
Is a domestic preparation, which has been used
with entire success for many years. Being an in

rntward applications, which are but paliatives and
101 curatives. This medicine acts upon the dis
eased parts, producing healthy and a per

CONSUMPTION
THIS remedy is offered to the community
with the confidence we feel in an article
which seldom fails to realize -.he happiest effects
that can be desired. So wi*e is ihe field ot its
usefulness, and so numerous the cases oi its cures,
that almost even section of the country abounds
in persons, publicly known, who have been re
stored iroin alarming and even desperate diseases
of the lungs by its use. When once tried, its su
periority over o her medicine of its kind, is
too apparent to e cape observation, and where its
virtues are known, the public no longer hesitate
what antidote to employ tor the distressing and
uangerous affections ot the | ulmonary organs,
which are incident to our climate. And not only
the formidable attacks upon the lungs, but for the
milder varieties of Colds. Coughs, Hoarseness, occ.
and for children it is the pleasantest and salest
medicine that can be obtained, family should
be without it, and those who have used it, never
will.
Read the opinion o' the following gentlemen,
who will be recognized in the various sections of
country where they are located—each and all as
merchants of the first class and of the high
est character—as the oldest and most extensive
wholesale dealers in Medicine with an experience
unlimited on the subject of which they speak. If
there is any value in the judgement of experience,
