ROUS,
OR MEDICATED COMPOUND.
INFALLIBLE lor renewing, invigorating and
beautifying the HAIR, removing the scurf,
dandruff, and all affections of the scalp, and curing
eruptions on the skin, diseases of the glands, mus
cles and integuments, and relieving stings, cuts,
bruises, sprains. Ate. With this preparation ‘‘there
is no such word as fail/' The first journals in
i* America, medical men of the hignest eminence,
prominent citizens of all professions, and ladies
who have used it for years in their dressing rooms
and nurseries, admit with one accord, that for im
parting vigr , gloss, luxuriance and curl to the
hair eradicating scurf and dandruff', healing
wounds, curing contusious, sprains, stings, &c.,
and relieving diseases of the skin, the glands and
the m iscles.it has no equal among the multitude
of compounds advertised in the public prints, or
1 use • in private practice. In cheapness as wel as
Barry's Tricopherous is unrivalieu. The
cash sales ot the article have enabled
m!*' the inventor to supply it at retail, at 25 cents per
bottle, which is from 50 to 100 per cent less than
the pr ce of any other preparation for the hairnow
■ se. The scien itic treatise on the hair and the
skin, (embracing valuable diiections for the cul
ture and preservation of Nature's choicest orna
meat,) in which each bottle is enclosed, is aioue
worth the money.
If-- The affiuity between th<i membranes which con
stitute the skin, and the hair which draws its sus
enance from this triple envelope is very close.—
All diseases of toe hair originate in the skin of the
head. If the (tores of the sea p are clogged, or it
the blood and other fluids do not circulate freely
through the sma « . e«els which feed the root with
moisture, and impart to the fibres, the result is
scurf, dandruff, sheading of the hair, graveness,
dryness and narshness ot the ligaments, and entire
baldnes>, as the case may oe. Stimulate t e stun
to healthful action with the Tricop; erous, and the
tot pi i Vessels recovering their activity, will anni
hilate the disease. In ail affections of the skin,
and of the subsuata of musetes and integuments,
tbe process and the effect are the same. It is
upon the skin, the muscular fibre, and the glands,
that the Tricopherous has its specific action, and
in all a (factious and injury of these organs, it is a
c >vereign remedy.

ISAAC BROOKS', JR., CASE!
Go and see him, and you tol l say the half has not been
told!!!
We the undersigued having visited Mr. Jssac
Brooks, Jr., at the office of Messrs. Rowand &.
vVaiton, 373 Market street, Philadelphia, consider
his case the most remarkable one we have ever
witnessed or heard of.
His disease was Scrofula, and terrible must have
oeen his twelve years' conflict with the destroyer!
His Palate, the entire roof of his Mouth,lNose,Upper
Lip, and loner lid of the Eye have been destroy
ed, nis Face nearly eaten up, and part of the Js.iv
Bone carried away. And yet we can give no de
scnption of his case.
Mr. B. informs us that in January last, the whole
aterior of his mouth, as well a most of his face
was a mass of deep and painful ulcers.
On the 14th of January last, ne commenced ta
king Dr. Cullen’s Indian Vegetable Panacea, whieb
checked the disease in a few days, and from that
time the cure has progressed without intermission.
New flesh has supplied the place of the deep ul
cers, and though badly disfigured, his face is sound
and his general health is restored.
We are assured that in the treatment of Mr.
Brooks’case no Mercurials, Ointments, or Caustic
applications have been used,—in fact, the Panacea
elone, has wrought this wonders ul change.

A CERTAIN CURE FOR THE PIEES.
Dr. Cullen’s Indian Vegetable Piles Remedy,
Is a domestic preparation, which has been used
with entire success for many years. Being an in
ternal medicine, it has decided preieience over
mtward applications, which are but paliatives and
lot curatives. This medicine acts upon the dis
eased parts, producing healthy action, and a per
manent cure, which we warrant, or refund themo
ney.
NO CURE NO PAY.
Dr. Cullen’s Indian Vegetable Remedy.
Warrented to cure, or the money returned.—
f his medicine is prepared from an Indian receipt,
obtained from one of them in the far West at great
expense. Those who have been familiar with the
Indians know that they can and do cure Venerial
without the knowledge of Murcury, Balsam, or
anything of the kind The afflicted have now an
opportunity of being cured without the danger of
Ylercury or the unpleasant use of Balsam. The
medicine is pleasant to the taste, and leaves no
smell on the breath.
Dr. Cullens Vegetable Indian Spec!lie for
Female Complaints,
This medicine is fast taking the place of every
preparation heretofore used for diseases arising
from weaknee or other causes. All thatisueces
sary to secure this medicine a place in the Do
mestic practice of every family where such a medi
is needed, is a trial.
It speaks for itself—is innocent in its operation
and no injury can arise from its use at any time.

For the Cure of
COUCHS, COLDS, HOARSENESS,
BRONCHITIS, WHOOPING-COUGH,
CROUP, ASTHMA, AND
CONSUMPTION
THIS remedy is offered to the community
with the confidence we feel in an article
which seldom fails to realize .he happiest effects
that can be desired. So wi*e is the field of its
usefulness, and so numerous the cases 01 its cures,
that almost everv section of the country abounds
m persons, publicly known, who have been re
stored from alarming and even desperate diseases
of the lungs bj its use. When once tried, its su
periority over every o her medicine of its kind, is
too apparent to e cape observation, and where its
virtues are known, the public no longer hesitate
what antidote to employ for the distressing and
oangerous affections ot the j ulmonary organs,
which are incident to our climate. And not only
the formidable attseks upon the lungs, but for the
milder varieties of Colds. Coughs, Hoarseness, &c.
and for children it is the pleasantest and safest
medicine that can be obtained. No family should
be without it, and those who have used it, never
will.
Read the opinion o f the following gentlemen,
who will be recognized in the various sections of
country where they are located—each and all as
merchants 0/ the*first class and of the high
est character—as the oldest and most extensive
wholesale dealers in Mediciue with an experience
unlimited on the subject of which they speak. If
there is any value in the judgement of experience,
see
THIS CERTIFICATE.
