MARSHALL'S MAGICAL PAIN
ERADICATOR.
Dalton, March 15,1851.
Messrs. W. H. & J. Turpin.—Gentlemen.—1
hope you will excuse the intrusion of these lew
lines, as i a n not personally acquainted with you,
and besides am an entire stranger in your city
I am constrained, however, to trespass on yonr
kind indulgence, and say some’hing in behalf of
‘‘Marshall’s Magical Pain Eradicator.”
Such a medicine as this compound should be
widely known, and had I the gift of tongues and
the power, I would not hesitate to proclaim its
praises in the streets and on the house tops—as it
is, I speak fearlessly to all and every one. My
case was indeed a painful one, and 1 did despair
of ever getting cured, having tried physicians and
nostrums till I have gotten almost impoverished.
Rheumatism in my back is v.hat 1 labored un’ er,
but thank God, by the application ot your Psin
Eradicator, 1 have got entirely well, and perfectly
able to attend to my usual duties. If this public
acknowledgement is of any service to you in ex
tending the leputauon and value of thL prepara
tion you are liberty to use it as you may. Hoping
you ail the success it so richly deserves. I remain
most respectfully \ ours. THOS. DUNN.

ICTBLISS’S COMPOUND COD LITER
OIL CANDY.—Probably no one siugle article in
the materia medica has ever conferred so many
blessings on mankind as has Cod Liver Oil. But
a'l persons cannot use the Oil, on account of its
disgusting flavor. This fact induced Mr. Bliss,
an experienced apothecary, of Spri.igfield, Mass.,
to compound a candy which should retain all the
virtues of the oil, and be free from its offensive
taste and odor. This candy is one of the very
best remedies for all pulmonary complaints; but it
has its counterfeits, which must be shunned by the
purchaser. Ca l for Bliss’s Candy and receive no
other.
