LIVER AND DYSPEPTIC
vildkim;.
IN offering this valuable medicine to the people
of Georgia, for .the relief and cure of many dis
eases incident to a southern climate, I do not claim
for it infalibility; neither do 1 say it will cute all
disease. But in Chronic Liver Affections and Dys
pepsia, I can confidently ad vise and recommend its
use, from my personal observation and use of the
article in my own practice. 'Phis article is favora
bly received wherever it has been ntn-d. lam al
lowed to reier to Mr. George Heard of Troup, 31 r.
John Warren of Columbus,Mr. McKaffce of Cobb,
3ir. Asbtny HaiJ of Athens, .Mr. William D. 'Fer
rell of Putnam, Rev. John E. Dawson of Lagrange;
to w'htch a great number of names might he added,
who bear their testimony to its value. Dr. Henry
Branham bus used thi? medicine ip Ids own case,
and has prescribed it to many others, gives it as his
opinion, that it is one of the safest and most valua
ble medicines that can be used in imperfect diges
tion, liver complaints, constipation and irregular
state of the bowels. It is useful in bilious com
plaints, to persons recovering from bilious fevers,
and in sick or nervous head ache. To pregnant
women, who are subject to eostiveness. this medi
cine is well suited, in regulating the state of the
stomach and bowels, and promoting digestion, it is
particularly useful.
I could append a long list of certificate*, hut for
bear, prefering to rely' on the virtues of the medi
cine to sustain itself. The medicine is a gentle
and certain cathartic, tonic and sudorific.

GALVANIC RINGS
AND
MAGNETIC FLUID.
reui.ukable invention, which has received the |
W almost univeesal app.obalien ol‘the medical pro
fession of (treat Britain, comprises an entirely new ap
plication of Galvanism, as a remedial agent, by means of
which the ordinary Galvanic Ba teries. Electric and M»«-
j netic Machins. & c., arc entirely dispensed with, and the
i mysterious power s of Galvanism applied without any 1
of the objeiiiums which are. inseperabie from tiie gene

trial, to be decidedly injurious, ami it was to remedy f
tins radical delect, that this new' application was pro
j jetted, which after unceasing toil ami perseverance, has
; been brought to it- present stale of perleetioii. The
i Galvanic Rings answer all the purposes of the most
! expensive Machines, and iu nj my other respects are
! more safe and ccur.vi.N iu accomplishing the desired
I effect.
The Galvanic Kings used in connection with the
! Magnetic Fluid, a e confidently recommended in all

HEATHY STATE OK THE NERVOUS OH VITAL SYSTEM,and !
these complaints are among the most painful and uni- ;
versal to which we are subject. They arise, vv ithout ex- !
ception, from one simple cause—a derangement of tin*
j Nervous system—and it was in these cases that otlier
• “ remedies” havieg so often failed, a new agent was
greatly needed, which it is confidently believed, has
been found in ihe proper and judicious application of
Galvanism.
The Galvanic Rings have been used with entire sue- •

; plying to she head, face or limbs : Gout, Tic-Dolorecx
j Toothache. Bronchitis, Vertigo, Nervous or Bick '

and am. Nervous Disorders. In case.- of confirmed
Dyspepsia, which is simply a nervous derangement of j
the digest!ve organs, thev have been found equally sue

must he witnessed to be believed, and as a certain pke- i
ventive for the preceding complaints they aree(|iial
ly recommended. The Rings are of different prices,
I being made of all-izes, and of various 01 namental pat
terns, and can be worn by the mosfdelicate female without
the slightest inconvenience, la fact the sensation i» ,
: rather agreeable than otherwise.
The Galvanic Belts, Bracelets, Bauds,
Garters, Necklaces, &c.
In some cases of a very severe character and of long
| standing, the power as applied hy the Galvan ic Rings
j is not sufficient to arre.-tthe progress of disease and ulti
mately to restore health. The improved modification in ‘
| the Galvan c Belts, Brace ets, &c., entirely reme- !
j dies tilisobjection ; any degree of power that is required
cun readily be obtained, and no complaint which the
' mysterious agent of Galvanism can effect will fail to lie
permanently relieved. These articles are adapted to the
wai.-t, arms, wrists, limbs ancles or any part of iiie body
w ith perfect convenience. The Galvanic Necklaces |
1 are used with greater benefit in cases of Rrokchitis or 1
affections of the throat generally ; affo in eases of Xf.r- !
i vous Deafness; and with almost uniform success as a 1
preventive for Apoplexy, Epileptic Fits, and similar
; complaints.
Christie’s Magnetic Fluid.
Is issued in connection with the Galvanic Rings, and
1 all their modifications. Tins composition lias been pro- j

extraordinary discoveries of modern science. It is be- j

i Nerves seusitive to Galvadic act»oii, by these means ;
| can- it)g a circulation of the influence at the seat of dis- i

other composition in chemistry is known to produce the |
same effect or to impart a similar property to the nervous !
system by means of an outward local application. The j
Maguetic Fluid contains nothing capaule of the slight- i
est injury, its application is agreeable, and it is harmless i
in its action as it is beneficial iu iffi r#*.<fft. Full explana- '

DR. TAYLOR'S BALSAM OF LIVERWORT.
375 Bowery, N. V.
MUST those be who have Pulmonary Consumptiqii,
or any affection of the Lungs Liver or Chest,
after reading ihe following letter, just received from a
ini st respectable inhabitant of Westchester County
New \ o: k.
Tarrvtown, Aug. 9, 1^44.
j Dear Doctor—lt is difficult to lind w ords to express th"
I gratitude w hich I fi el towards yon for the interest you
have tak< u to relieve me in my distress, la the year
J24g I contracted a heavy cold, which finallysettled oa
my lungs; in a few months after I commenced coughing
and iuising offensive matter, which smelt very had.
Having heard that She man’s Lozenges were good for a
cough I tried a few boxes of them, but they h id not tho
least ( ft", nt on me. I then called in tho best physician in tha
place, whoa tended me a few months, but without *ur
i cess; I ilien saw an advertisement iu one of tils cily
1 papersof VVistar’s Huisam of Wild Cherry, of which I
pur bused three butties, ut thecoruer of Fulton and Nns
s:iu streets, but 1 could not perceive t e least bem ficiut
clfoci from it, on the contrary I think it was a great in
jury to me. Shortly' after Using it I commenced raising
blood in large quantities ; I was taken down sick and
confined to the house for three months, during which
time 1 lost my appeliie and fell away very fast; I w«»
i then induced to consult Dr. Curtisuf New York. (one of
tile best physicians iu I lie city.) hut he could do me no
good. 1 again become worse, a d was confined to tho
house all last winter and spring, and I gave up all hope of
ever getiing any better, as I again raised blood and my
1 cough was: very severe, together with a pain in my breast,
and under the shoulder blade. M v friends now gave up
all hopeof my recovering, and thought every .day was
the last. About this time I heard of your BALAAM OF
LIVERWORT being good for consumption , bull vva.
like many others, and was fearful that it might be a regu
| lar humbug; 1 however finally consented to try it, as I
: thought it could m ike mo no worse. My brother th p
purchased a bottle of it at 375 Bowery, N. V. and I coin
i menced taking it, and by the tim l had used one bottle
j full I could sleep all night, and in the morning I had an
appetite for my breakfast. I still keep on taking it and
find great benefit from it—the pain in my breast is entire
ly go. e, and I raise no more blood. Within.the last two
months 1 have gamed in weight six pounds and much in
strong h. I would therefore advise qil who have any
| aSfec ion of the Lungs or Liver to try the Genuine Dr.
Taylor’s Balsam of Liverwort, for I truly believe it to
bethe best remedy in existence for diseases of the Lungs
or Liver. Should any one doubt the ibove stalnrpeul rg
lalive to your v aluabte medicine, let i.m tall on me, and
I w ill convince them of its virtue.
