tN offering this valuable medicine to the people
of Georgia, for the relief and cure of many dis

to which a great munhei of names might he acjged,
who bear their testimony to ils value. Dr. Henry
Branham has used ibis medicine in his own case,
and has prescribed it to many others, gives it as his
opinion, that it is one of the safest and moot valua
ble medicines that can lie used in imperfect diges
tion, liver complaints, constipation and irregular
state of the bowels. It is useful in bilious com
plaints, to persons recovering from bilious fevers,'
and in sick or nervous head-ache. To pregnant
women, who are subject to costiveness. this medi
cine is well suited. In regulating the state of the
stomach and bowels, and promoting digestion, it is
particularly useful.
I could append a long list of certificates, hut for

GALVANIC RINGS
AND
M AGNETIC FLUID.
THIS remarkable invention, which has received the i
aioiosi universal app-obaUcii of the medical pro- i
fescion of Great Britain, comprises an entirely new ap- j
plication of Galvanism, as a remedial agent, by means of
w bich the ordinary Galvanic Ba teries, Electric and Mag- ,
netic Machines.&c.,arecioirely dispensed with, and the j
mysterious powers of Galvanism applied wilhoui any ;
of the objections which are inseperable from the gene- j
ral mode now in use. The strong doses, ami at irregn- j
iar intervals, in winch Galvanism is applied by the Ma- ;
chines, has be n pronounced, us cr a (air and impaitial j
trial, tube DEtniKULY injukious, and it was to remedy ;
this radical defect, that this new application was pro
jected. which after unceasing toil and perseverance, has i
been brought to its present siatc of perlection. The |
Galvanic Kings answer ail the purposes of the most ;
expensive Machines, and in many other respects are j
more SAFE and certain in accomplishing the desipefl :
effect.
4'iie Galvanic Rings, used in connection with the ’
Magnetic Fluid, a e confidently recommended in ai l ,
U SORDt RS WHICH ARISE FROM AN ENFEERLEp OR UN- 1
HEATHY S'vrt- OF THE NERVOUS OR VITAL SYSTEM, and |
these i ouiplainls are among the most painful and um- ;
versal to which we are subject. They arise, w iibant ex- !
ception, from one simple cause —a derangement of the j
Nervous system—-and if wg.« in these case.- that other :
| “ remedies’' havii g so often faded, a new agent was j
greatly needed, which it is confidently believed, lias
been found in tfie proper ami judicious application of j
Galvanism.
The Galvanic ffiNGS have been usnd with entire sue- |

Heap. Pa>ns in the Chest andSidf.. Generai Debili
ty, Deficiency of Nervous and Physical Energy,
and all Nervous Disorders. In cases of confirmed
Dyspepsia, which is simply a nervous derangeme.nt of
the digestive organs, they have been found equally suc
: cessful. Their extraordinary efleets upon the system
I must be witnessed to be believed, and as a certain pre
ventive for the preceding complaints they are equal- j
!v recommended. The Rings are of different prices, i
l being made of ill sizes, and of various ornamental pat- !
terns, and can be worn by the mostdelicate female vv illiout |
the slightest inconvenience. In fact the sensation is J
rather agreeable than otherwise.
The Galvanic Belts, Bracelets, Bands,
t.arters. Necklaces, &c.
In some cases of a very severe character and of long
standing, the power as applied by the Galvanic Kings
is not sufficient to arre..-tthe progress of disease and ulli- :
matefy to restore health. The unproved modification in |
the Galvan c Belts, Brace ETs, &c., entirely rente- I
dies tins objection ; any degree of power that is required j
can readily bo obtained, and no complaint which the ,
mysterious agent of Galvanism can effect w ill fail to be i
permanently relieved. Tin se articles are adapted to the I
waist, arms, wrists, limbs ancles or any part of ilic* body j
with perfect convenience. The Galvanic Necklaces j
are used wish greater benefit in rases of Bronchitis or i
affections of the throat generally ; al.-o in cases of Nkr- !
vous Deafness; and with almost uniform success us a !
preventive for Apoplexy, Epileptic Fits, aud similar
complaints.
Ckristje’s 3l**»uetic Fluid.
Is issued in connection with the Galvanic Rings.and
all their modifications. This composition lias been pro
nounced by the French Client ists to be one of the moot i
extraordinary discoveries of modern science. It is fn*- j
lieved to possess a remarkable power of renderihg the |
Nerves seosi itve to <*alvaiiic actioh, by these igeaii* j
causing a circulation of tlie influence al the seat of dis- j
eas«, and thus giving rapid and permanent relief. No j
other composition in chemistry is known to produce the ,
same effector to impart a similar property to the nervous j
system by means of an outward local application. The j
Maghetic Fluid contains nothing capable of thesliglit- ;
est injury, its application is agreeable, and it is harmless j
in its action as it is beneficial iu its reeui'. Full expiauu- j
lions anil directions accompany it. The combined in- J
volitions are Jo every way perfectly harmless; they are j
at prices wnhin reach of all, and t: e discoverer only re- •
quests a fair trial, as a lest of their surprising efficacy I
and permanent-benefit.

Th»*se ar'icles form another valuable application of
the, mvstehous influence of Galvanism. They are an
important adjunct to the genuine Galvadic Ktucs and i

DR. TAYLOR’S BALSAM OF LIVERWORT.

MUST those be who have Pulmonary Consumption,
or any affection of the Lungs Liver or Chest,
after reading ibe following letter, just received fn m a
i m st respectable inhabitant of Westchester County
I New York.
TarkytoWN, Aug. 9, 1 P 44.
Dear Doctor—li is difficult to lind words to express lb«
gratitude which I feel towards you for the interest you
have tak'n to relieve me in rny distress. In the your
1842 I contracted a heavy cold, which finally settled on
my lungs; in a lew months after 1 commenced coughing
and iaiding offensive matter, which smell very bad.
Having heard that Sherman’s Lozenges were good for a
' cough 1 triad a few boxes of them, but they had not the
j least effect on me, I then called in the best physician in the
1 pluci.wiioo tended me a few mouths, but without sue
cess; I then saw an advertisement in one of the ci;y
: papers of Wislar’s Balsam of Wilo Cherry, oi w hich I
1 pur baaed three bottle*, at the corner of Fulton and Na*-
i sun streets, bat 1 could mu perceive t e least bemficial
; effect from it, ou the contrary ) think it was a great ia
-1 jury to me. Shortly alter using it 1 commenced raising
blood in large quantities; 1 was taken down sick and
confined to the hoo-e for three months, during which
time 1 lost my appetiie and fell away very fast; 1 was
; then iud ced to consult Dr. Curtis of New York, (one of
the best physicians in the city,) but be could do me no
good. I again become worse, ai d was confined to the
house all last winter and spring, and 1 gave upall Imp* of
ever getting any better, as I again raised blood and my
! cough Was very severe, together with a pain in my breast
| and under the shoulder blade. 1H v friends now gave up
all hope of my recovering, and thought every day was
the last. About this time 1 heard of your BALAAM OK
I AVER WORT being good for consumption, but I was
like many others, and was fearful that it might be a rego.
lar humbug; 1 however finally consented to try it. as I
thought it could make me, no worse. My brother tli- r»
piircnased a bottle of it at 375 Bowery, N. V', and I com
menced taking it and by she time 1 had used one fictile
full i could sloop all night, and in the morning I lead an
appetiie for my breakfast. 1 still keep on taking it and
find great benefit from it—the pain in my breast is entire
ly gone, and 1 raise no more blood. W ithin the last two
months 1 have gained in weight six pounds and much in
streng h. 1 would therefore advise ail who have any
affec mu of the Lungs or Liver to try the Genuine Di,
Taylor’s Balsam of Liverwort, for 1 truly believe it l«
| bethe best remedy in existence for diseases of the Lungs
or Liver. Should any one doubt the tbove statement re
lative to your valuable medicine, let i.ih call cm ate, and
I will convince tiieuoufßa virtue.
