Cotton Bnirging fi)r Alls
Augusta, Aug. 21, 1889.
To Our Customers, Friends and Plant
ers generally.
That the planters and merchants
of the South have combined to defea'
the purpose of the jute trust, is a fae
now fully recognized. The threatened
scarcity of cotton bagging promised to
be the greatest obstacle in the way - of
the accomplishment of this end, but
we are glad to state that by the plac¬
ing of a very large order we have in¬
duced the Sibley Manufacturing Co.,
of thiE city, to commence the manu
facture-of these goods, with a daily ca¬
pacity, when running cn full time, of
10,000 yards per day.
It was our desire to obtain the best
article on the market and as the result
of some weeks’ experiments (in which
no expense has been spared) we now
offer you what we consider unquestion
ably the strongest, most durable and
cheapest cotton bagging manufactured
It weighs fib per yard and is 40 inches
wide. We can sell it in email lots at
j 21,'.: per yard; 5,000 to 20.000 yards
line ; 20,000 yards or over 12c.
Through the courtesy of Mr. Living
stone, president, and Mr. Nor then,
chairman bag com., we had the privl
lege of appearing before the state Alii
ance at' Macon on Tuesday, 20th inst.,
and we have their authority to state
that this bagging is ev¬
ery respect. Owing to a slight delay
incident to necessary changes in ma
chinery, the mill will not be able to
commence delivery in large quantities
before Sep. 10, but any orders received
before that time will be filed and duly
filled in turn. We are in position to
guarantee shipment of at least 40,000
yards by Sep. 15.
In connection with this bagging
question it is well to call your atten¬
tion to the fact that the mills have
positively agreed to "allow a rebate of
10c per hundred or about 50c on each
bale packed in cotton bagging. This
will give the Augusta market an addi¬
tional advantage over points where
there is no mill demand.
Our mills will use this season be¬
tween 85,000 aud 90,000 bales.
Yours truly,
POPE & FLEMING.

Mr. Ralph Elkins lives at Marione
ville. Mo., and is a successful farmer
He says that he has been a great suf
lexer from impurities of the blood
which made his limbs stiff and gave
him pain in the lungs., but that he
took Swift,s Specific, and it soon rel¬
ieved him entirely.
We have sold Swift’s Specific for six
years in quantity lots, and the goods
have been etirely satisfactory and with
out a complaint from a single custom

Swift Specific has a brisk and constant
sale with us and the universal verdict
is that ai a blood medicine is has no

Mr. Jas. J. McCalley, of MoneP Mo.,
says he had dyspepsia for eight years
which made him a wreck sick and suf¬
fering during the whole time, After
trying all the remedies including all
the doctors in reach he discarded ever
and took Swift's Specific. He in¬
creased from 114 to 158 pound, and
was soon a sound and healthy man.
Olive Branch in tetters of Gold
I do believe that God sent you to me
with the Olive Branch so that I might
cured. It has done “wonderful things
for me,” It enabled me to wait on
and administer to the wants of my de¬
ceased husband, which I could not
have done before I commenced the
use of the Olive Branch.
Would that I could go from house
to house and impress upon every- suffer¬
ing woman the virtue there is in this
medicine. It has saved me hundreds
of dollars, and bad I had it years ago,
not only hundreds of dollars would
have been saved but thousands, for I
have not only had several prominent
doctors in this and other counties, but
I have had doctors from other states.
I wish I could write in letters of gold
and hang up in every house the won¬
ders of the Olive Branch.
It is indeed a God send and every
Buffering woman old or young, should
not fail to use it. I pray God’s bless¬
ing on every box and I believe there
are hundreds of women that will join
with me in sounding praises all over
Texas for Dr. Kilmer and the Olive
Branch. Mrs. Sibbie Waites,
Elmo, Tey., June 24 1889.
ly Dr. Kilmer’s Olive Branch positive¬
cares all female diseases. Every
woman can treat herself successfully
and inexpensively in the privacy of
her own home. One month’s treat¬
ment $1.

Convincing Proof.
In many instances it has been pro¬
ven that B- B. B, (Botanic Blood
Balm), made by Blood Balm Co. At
lanta, Ga., will cure clood poison in its
worst phases, even when all other treat¬
ment fails,
A. P. Brunson, Atlanta, Ga., writes,
I had 24 running ulcers on one leg
and six on the other, and felt greatly
prostrated. I believe I actuallly swal¬
lowed a barrel of medicine in vain ef¬
forts to cure the disease. With little
hope I finally acted on the urgent ad¬
vice of a friend and got a bottle of B.
B. B. I experienced a change and
my despondency was somewhat dis¬
pelled. I kept using it till I had taken
sixteen bottles, and all the ulcers,
rheumatism and all other horrors of
blood poison have disappeared, and at
last I am sound and well again, after
an experience of twenty years of tor¬
ture.
Robert Ward, Maxey, Ga., writes:
“My disease wa pronounced a tertiary
form of blood poison. My face, head
and shoulders were a mass of corrup¬
tion, and finally the disease began eat¬
ing my skull bones. My bones ached
my kidneys were deranged, I lost flesh
and strength and life became a burden
and all said I must surely die, but
nevertheless, when I had need tan bot¬
tles of B. B. B. I was proaonnoed well.
